RuBrides does not stand out in any way as an international dating service. The selection of Slavic brides there is mediocre at best, and the functionality of the website is not particularly modern or convenient. Overall, we believe that there are many services superior to Ru Brides and that you don’t have a great chance of meeting your potential soulmate there.
If you have your mind set on marrying one of the gorgeous Russian or Ukrainian brides, then you are probably already familiar with their numerous benefits and advantages over women in your home country. They only thing that remains to do is to find a reliable international dating site that will connect you to the love of your life. This is exactly what Ru Brides promises to do.
RuBrides is an international dating service that has a database of thousands of Slavic brides waiting for their perfect foreign husband. Unfortunately, we did not find any information about the history or mission of the service, or how long it has been in the dating business.
We were also surprised not to see a section dedicated to success stories of couples who met through Ru Brides, as it’s usually an integral part of any dating website. Still, we decided to conduct our own RuBrides review.

Your experience with ru-brides.com starts with the homepage. Here, you can already get a pretty good idea about the quality profiles you will find on the website, as well as the overall user experience.
The good news is that you don’t immediately need to create an account if you want to take a look around the website, since Ru Brides allows you to browse the profiles and use the search feature without an account. At the bottom of the homepage, you will also find some blog entries with dating tips and advice.
A feature of RuBrides that stood out for us was the video presentation. When you hover your cursor over one of the women’s profiles, their profile photo changes into a short clip of them from the webcam. This feature gives you an opportunity to see any lady in action.
Once you decide to create your account at Ru Brides, you can do it in just a couple of minutes. Fill in your name, email, and choose a password, and you are all set. You can also log in using your Facebook account to save time.
Women’s profiles at ru-brides.com are rather detailed and contain additional photos and lots of information about the female member, including her education level, physical parameters, and who exactly she is looking for on the website.
Using a woman’s profile, you can reach out to the member you like in several different ways. You can write her a letter, invite her to join the chat, or send her a physical gift if you want to demonstrate your serious intentions. There is also an option to request the woman’s contact information, but it is only available if you have spent some time communicating with the member.
Most profiles have at least one private photo that is only accessible with a password, and although Ru Brides claims that the password feature is absolutely free, it still feels rather suspicious to us.

There are several ways to discover the women of Ru Brides. If you are feeling lucky, you can try the Woman Gallery button in the upper part of the page. By clicking it, you will access a random selection of female members of RuBrides, and while you cannot influence the content of this gallery in any way, there is a still a chance that you will discover your future wife there.
However, a much more effective way to improve the selection of women is to use the Search feature. It is available both as a basic and advanced search. You can enter a variety of search parameters, including the woman’s physical features, marriage history, smoking and drinking habits, and religious views. You can also search for women by their ID or opt to only see women who are currently online and available for a chat.
Moreover, there is a special section with female videos, where you can see some of the RuBrides website members in action.
Personally, we found the selection of women at RuBrides to be a bit limited. We checked the Women Gallery several times, but some of the profiles appeared there more than once. The profiles at Ru Brides look professionally made, which may be great for quality, but also makes us think that they may be managed by the website itself.
Prices
Like most international dating sites, Ru-Bride requires you to pay to access the complete functionality of the service. Instead of a subscription model, where all services are included in the membership feel, Ru Brides makes you pay for every action you want to take there in credits.
Credits can be spent in several ways at RuBrides. 1 minute of chat with a woman costs 1 credit, as does 1 minute of video broadcasting. Sending a letter to a woman, on the other hand, costs 7 credits. The physical gifts, which you can also send to women, also come with a steep price tag.
You can purchase the credits in packages, which affect the price of each individual credit. The cheapest option is 20 credits for $12, while 750 credits will cost you $299.
Safety
Ru Bride does not look like a particularly safe dating service. The payments are protected by SSL encryption, but that is by far the only safety measure the website has taken to ensure the security of their members. There are no safety guides or widely advertised ways to report any questionable activity. Plus, we have doubts regarding the authenticity of the women’s profiles.
